The moment your business email is hacked, you open your business to serious problems, such as usurpation of identity and unlimited access to your business accounts. To prevent further damage from a hacked email, educate yourself with these steps and perform them:

• Updating Password – Make sure you immediate change your existing password to log your account out of other devices. This prevents the hacker from accessing other accounts.
• Review Your Settings - If your email was hacked, it is most likely that settings on your device have been changed.
• Check Computers for Malware – Malwares or traces of malwares usually exist when your account or email was recently hacked.
