Having a team dedicated to computer safety requirements is great but you still need to do your part when it comes to ensuring that you are safe and protected from the many cyber threats out there. You can start simply by following the tips below:

• Avoid writing passwords on paper – Make sure you keep your passwords secure. It won't be a good idea to write down your passwords on a piece of paper like a sticky note and then put it somewhere where everyone can see it.
• Avoid using public Wi-Fi – If you are going to use a public WiFi, make sure you use the VPN offered by your company before making an important financial transaction.
• Back up your data – Make sure you back up your data regularly. This way, in case something penetrates your data at work, you still have the latest files on hand.
